Becoming A CNA!

So, are you wondering how to get started? We're here to guide you! If you are ready to become a CNA you just need to follow a few steps. To begin, you must be at least 16 years of age.

No high school diploma or GED is necessary! But Good Reading Skills are a must.

First Three Days Covering 16 Course hours Are very fast pace! Lots Of Info to cover.

Six Written Test with a Minimum of 70% AS A Passing Score!

Just enroll, attend your classes, and take the state exam through HeadMaster, (Passing each Step).

You can be prepared for the certification test in as little as 2 ½ weeks through our program. Our courses consist of both classroom and lab studies including hands-on clinical training for the full experience. It's really that simple. Plus, we're here to help you along the way!

All Missed Instructions must be made up.

90 Clock Hour Course
RSB offers CNA classes that consist of classroom study paired with hands-on learning for a well-rounded learning experience. 

 Self Pay Or Sponsorship
There are two ways to attend, self pay or sponsorship. Normal sponsors are (Nursing Homes), etc. Payment or arrangements with the sponsor for payment of tuition would need finalized with RSB by the start of the first day of class.

RSB does not have a Placement Program. 

Class Times
Jonesboro Day Classes: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. (typically takes 12 weekdays to complete)   


Additional Classes
RSB periodically holds additional classes, throughout Arkansas, Utilizing Long Term Care Facilities when possible. In Most Cases, Clinical instructions are required to be performed in a Long Term Care Facility (Nursing Homes). See Class Schedule.

RSB is Approved and Monitored by: The Offices of Long Term Care and Private Career of Higher Education of Arkansas.

Be At Least 16 Years Of Age
For enrollment in RSB Nursing Assistant Training Program, the student must be 16 years of age, have a current DL or ID Card W/Photo and Social Security card. No High School Diploma or GED Required.


Complete The Course
You must satisfactorily complete the course during allotted time. Text Books are furnished for use during the class. Tuition is $600.


Pass The Certification Test
You have up to 1 year to take and pass the State Certification test through TMU hdmaster.com https://hdmaster.com/testing/cnatesting/arkansas/A... . Your Training School will register you in the system so you can get Started.


Pass A Criminal Background Check
To take the Certification Test or be listed on the States CNA Registry, you must pass a criminal background check. Guidelines are outlined in the criminal background check document below.
